Patriotism is not Jewelry

I love my country. I’m a born, die hard patriot of the United States. I believe in freedom and would die in defense of my nation. Even though I’m patriotic, I don’t wear a flag pin every day, have a flag on my car or wear red, white and blue clothing all the time. So, I get angry when people criticize Barack Obama for not being patriotic because he doesn’t wear a flag lapel pin or is constantly waving the American flag. This doesn’t mean he doesn't not love our country. Voters should be choosing the candidate that will lead our nation based on the issues, not what pieces of jewelry they do or don’t wear.
