Who is being sexist?
The war of words between the presidential candidates got ugly today when McCain accused Obama of being sexist and calling governor Palin a pig. He didn’t do that. The controversy is over a common saying and the Republicans have used it in the past too. Yet who is being sexist?
McCain has been keeping Palin by his side since the Republican convention. She is doing any interviews or answering questions. Why? Doesn’t he trust her on her own? Does he consider her incapable of towing the party line? Or, is she just there to be eye candy to confuse the voters from his old ideas? I’m suspicious of his motives and voters should be too.
