There are seven days left until the presedential election. The Republican candidates are feeling desperate and resorting to scare tactics to get people to vote for them. McCain is using scare tactics from the Cold War era, hinting that Obama is a socialist or God forbid a communist. This shows he is out of touch. We aren’t living in the Cold War. The Republicans rather scare voters to support them then offer hope. Their plans for the people only will reinforce the status quo. We’ll continue to lose jobs overseas, big business will continue to rip us off and those who are well off will continue to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. We can’t submit to the fear or racism of the Republicans. It’s time for a change of parties for a few years. The Democrats can’t make a worse mess than already exists with our economy and our country.
