Some of the Republicans and conservatives are upset by Obama’s statement about spreading the wealth. These people are letting their selfishness and greed show. McCain says Obama wants to give welfare to people. People who are wealthy think that the Democrats want to take their money away from them. I haven’t heard Obama, Biden or any Democrat say this. I’ve heard that they want to create jobs for people, give a tax break for the middle class and tax breaks for companies that create jobs here in the U.S. workers. The rich and big business have had it good for a long time. I don’t hate or envy wealthy people their money, but I do believe they should pay their fair share of taxes. Closing tax loopholes should be a good way of doing this.

We must not give in to the scare tactics of the Republican machine. The economy is a mess. We need new and younger blood in the White House, not the same old ideas that only benefit the greedy and selfish.
